FC Stade Nyonnais secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over FC Wil 1900 on 3 October 2025. The home side started strongly, dominating the first half and taking a 2–0 lead into the break thanks to clinical finishing and solid defensive organization.
In the second half, FC Wil mounted sustained pressure, pushing Nyonnais deep into their own half. Despite creating several chances, they only managed to pull one back in the 90th minute. With six minutes of stoppage time added, Wil continued to press for an equaliser, but Nyonnais held firm to preserve all three points.
Off the pitch, the atmosphere was charged with emotion as Nyonnais supporters unveiled a large banner reading “Do Not Touch Our Club Logo” — a clear protest against the rumored plans to alter the team’s traditional emblem. The message reflected the fans’ deep attachment to the club’s identity and heritage, adding an extra layer of passion to an already intense evening at the Stade de Colovray.
