Nyon 17 – 35 GPLO Rugby

So a prompt today for this text space was ‘So why do you create?’
I had considered that thought during this match and at one point took a break as the frustrations of watching as a supporter were over powering my want to photograph.
The image of a coach making notes before the game was very different to one afterwards which I hesitated and didn’t take. I am sure the notes by then were also very different and reflected more like a Halloween script to be delivered at the next training.
Determination to find the end result is always a challenge in everything that we do. But find it we must and Nyon Rugby Club 1XV need to find the spark that they are missing. The skill is there but it is not gelling together. Why I can’t put a finger on it but some soul searching and maybe a good piss up is needed to bind this capable squad.
There was a large crowd at the weekend and they spend their weekend afternoon be it a Saturday or Sunday watching what happens on the field. Yes they are all experts from the sideline as we all are but they are not all wrong.
Heads need to be lifted and players need to stand shoulder to shoulder and play for each other.

I will be taking a break from national rugby this weekend with a road trip to Belgium to photograph the National side vs Belgium Rugby. I need to focus better as well as my standards followed that of the team in the second game as my heart dropped. Its hard photographing a loss but its a must do.
I look forward to watching the next match with more positivity and capturing better action. Enjoy the images below from the game and please click and buy one to support. Images have the water mark removed at checkout.
